    • Certified Yoga Instructor

Rachel Henson is the founder of the herd; introducing the premiere Goat Yoga Classes to Texas and now Oklahoma.  She enjoys golfing, goats, riding, and spending time outside.  Rachel started doing yoga for the health benefits, and after receiving her teaching certificate for 200hr (RTY) Ashtanga training in Nicaragua, she began to volunteer at the Bridge Over Troubled Waters, in Pasadena, starting a yoga program.  After serving on numerous rodeo committees, including Lamb and Goat Auction Committee since 2010, putting yoga and goats together seemed like a natural combination as the craze swept the nation. She is passionate about her mission work in Guatemala, drilling wells for villages that otherwise would have no water and especially no clean water.  She mainly works with the children, teaching them from hygiene to the good news of Jesus Christ.  Almost three years in to owning Goat Yoga Houston, she still enjoys teaching goat yoga, traveling to new places with the goats, and loves seeing the customer's reaction when they first see the goats.  She is a lifetime Texas Exes and has over 1000 teaching hours.

    • Friendly Handler

Haley came to the Houston Goat Yoga family with an impressive background in livestock handling and care.  She has done it all, from raising heifers and pigs, to playing soccer while attending Friendswood High School.  She currently serves as the treasurer of the Friendswood FFA and aspires to attend college at Texas or Colorado University studying veterinary medicine or maybe even law.  She wants to keep her options open for now.  She is upbeat and will always great you with a smile, and help you with any of the goats you would like to hold or spend time with or if you need a photo taken in our photo time.
